OUR final shareholders’ meeting before we go “live” as an operational organisation takes place next Wednesday, March 15, at Douglas Mill, from 6pm to 8.30pm. This will largely be a diabetes-based event, but there will an update on Extended Access – so not exclusively for Level 2 providers. Please make every effort to join us. A curry supper will again be provided. For more information about the agenda and key actions required, especially around your new contracts and payments, read on.

Preparing you for contract changes

AS our work around diabetes hits a key milestone, namely contract changes, we felt that it was important to bring our shareholders and members together to explain the next steps.

We are now getting “contract ready”. And for those practices that are continuing with providing diabetes Level 2 services, we will need you to sign a new contract since your old one becomes invalid on March 31.

We will guide you through your new contract so you can review it and complete key information before signing and returning it electronically to us here at BCA as soon as possible, and by Monday March 27 2017 at the very latest.

This will enable us to continue to provide the diabetes services for our patients and ensure that you, as a practice, get paid for providing this.
