WE were thrilled to play a key role in promoting Cervical Cancer Awareness Week across the local press and on social media in general – and the fact that women can have a smear test in the evening at one of our three Extended Access hubs.

ON the back of our Extended Access service, we were pleased to support Cervical Cancer Awareness Week at the end of last month by continuing to raise awareness of the importance of screening via Twitter – #CervicalCancerAwarenessWeek and #SmearforSmear.

We also contributed to a formal Press release developed in conjunction with the CCG communications team. You can read the full release here, with elements of it appearing in the Telegraph & Argus over the week.

Once again, we urge you all to make your patients aware that they can now have their vital smear test in the evening at one of our three Extended Access hubs.

Please help them to book in. Thank you.

And with QOF targets to meet, please make sure you are utilising the appointments available for Asthma Checks.
